Something about myself...

I'm a (first year!) university student in electrical engineering. I'm rather happy I drifted here, otherwise I'd propably be unemployed/in a way boring factory job. In other words my life would pretty much be over, the same routine each day. Here the partying never stops! Also I like fucking around with computers, which is what they teach me here.

I've been playing guitar for around five years now, it's something I really love doing. If I could I'd play guitar for living. I've been in a band around a year now, so it's not like I don't try! We've got a couple of our songs together, but they do need some serious polishing. We play kind of speed metal. I totally love playing fast!

Despite all the shit that's drowning MetallicA right now (napster lawsuit and such), I still like the band, especially the first four albums. Refused, Randy Rhoads, Joe Satriani and the Nits are my other favorites. I also like the occasional jungle/trance songs.

I used to be this very quiet and reserved guy before I came here. I was living in my own fantasy worlds, guess I didn't much like the reality. I've changed a lot this year, as it's my first on my own (of course there was the army, but that's another story...). I share my flat with three other guys. It's been really interesting getting to know them, as they come from different worlds. Two of them are foreigners, one is way young guy who can't speak english. Which means they couldn't really communicate, sometimes it's hilarious. At the end of this month they'll all be gone, which makes me feel kinda sad.
